'Las Preciosas'

Des-estable Teatro presents the Castilian version of The Precious Ridiculous of Moliere by Idanis Alvarez, directed by Eric Burger. It is a scathing comedy in prose where very clever ladies have fun with conversations and word games.

Les précieuses ridicules was premiered in 1659 at the Théâtre du Petit-Bourbon in Paris with so much success that Moliere won the patronage of Louis XIV for his company.
