Prender la mirada is an essay that tries to reflect on issues such as the relationship with artistic conventions, with the territory and the sense of belonging to a place. It brings together the work of a series of artists who deal with pictorial surface, whether to respect its limits or exceed them, and with the territory of the island, whether to stay on it, to leave or to return.
