'The burning in my heart', Lourdes Murillo

Lourdes Murillo (Badajoz, 1964) presents this intervention in which the linear sequence of lights and shadows, the sound of the viola of the Prologue by Gérard Grisey, and the smell of incense provoke sensorial experiences that the poetry Dark Night of San Juan de la Cruz, furnishes with multiple meanings.

In this environment carrier of significants the space also acts as an active presence that invites the viewer to participate experientially. The intervention serves the sight, smell and hearing to create a perfect atmosphere for poetry and emotion.
