Bartomeu Garí is the author of the book La repressió feixista a Mallorca durant la guerra civil i la postguerra (1936-1945), which he now presents at the Teatre Sa Societat de Calvià.
Bartomeu Garí is doctor in History from the University of the Balearic Islands and a member of the Grup d'Estudi de la Cultura, the Societat i la Política al Món Contemporani. He was a founding member of the Associació Memòria de Mallorca and is currently part of the Col·lectiu Recerca, a research, dissemination, debate and study group on the history of the Second Republic, the Civil War, repression and Francoism. He has been part of the group of researchers that has drawn up the map of the common graves in Mallorca.
