First came the book Röadkill Motörhead (Fonart Publishing, 2012), an outstanding graphic document by Mallorcan photojournalist Pep Bonet on one of the best bands in rock and roll, the British Motörhead.
Now, this exhibition in the garden of the Cultural Center the Misericòrdia shows a selection of 76 photographs taken over seven years and two audiovisuals also signed by the photographer: a piece on the band and the video of the last album released by Motörhead, Bad Magic, which was shot in Mallorca. The group disbanded in December 2015 after the death of their leader and founder Lemmy Kilmister.
Bonet has documented the life of the group since 2008, living with them in their tours of the UK, Brazil, Colombia, Argentina, European festivals, local trials and sessions in the recording studio in Los Angeles. Also more personal moments in the lives of its members, especially of Lemmy Kilmister.
