Shakespeare says that death is the end of everything, and that Romeo and Juliet died in each other's arms in the mausoleum in Verona. Now, 400 years later, this production by the Teatro Español and Entrecajasos shows that Shakespeare was wrong: Ana Belén and Jesús Noguero are going to tell us the true story of this forbidden love.
Juliet and Romeo wake up after a long sleep, but do not recognize each other. And so, what we always believed was the end of the tragedy, is the beginning of the true story of the world's most famous lovers.
A work by the Austrian Eberhard Petschinka directed by Rafael Sánchez. Completing the cast are Irene Rouco (Lady Capulet/cello), José Luis Torrijo (Mistress/Capulet/guitar) and Pablo Amoros/David San José (Father Lorenzo/piano). Language: Spanish. Recommended age: from 14 years.
