Curated by Pilar Rubí, the exhibition Romeos, luchadorxs e insecto by Dora García (Valladolid, 1965) presents four linked projects that question history, social behavior and the function of a museum, and that delve into the lines of work of the creator based on the exploration of the mechanisms that intervene in the relationship between the artist, the work and the public.
The four projects correspond to four series in which Dora García has been researching for some time and the proposals presented in this exhibition represent an update of them, as well as the incorporation of new readings.
The projects are: Si pudiera desear algo (from the series Frases de oro), Luchadorxs (from the Posters series), Los Romeos and The Bug, a collective work in which visual arts, performing arts and literature converge. made up of nine boards intervened by the artist, which will be built with different activations during the month of November based on a specific program of performances.
