‘Si no ens paguen, no paguem’

The Nobel Prize for Literature in 1997, the Italian writer and actor Dario Fo, is the author of this devastating and humorous critic to mercantilism and loss of collective values in society today.

This is an updated version of Nobody pays here (1974), directed by Carles Fernández Guia and co-produced by Teatre de l' Enjòlit , Teatre Tantarantana and La conquista del Pol Sud is one of the most emblematic works of Dario Fo ( Sangiano, 1926 ), a playwright who from his beginnings has shot all his artillery, in the form of acidic satire against the establishment, from political power and capitalism to the Mafia and the Vatican.

Si no ens paguen, no paguem   tells about how a group of workers, fed up with the situation of continued exploitation and job insecurity, decide to rebel against the system and to stop paying. It is interpreted by Albert Alemany , Elies Barbera , Jenny Beacraft , Arnau Marin and Marta Montiel.
