'The Suites of J.S. Bach'

The cellist Asier Polo is considered by the specialist critics as one of the most important cellists of his generation. He is one of the regular musicians  in the programming of the Deià International Music Festival and could not miss the 40th edition. He interprets the Suites I, IV and V of Johann Sebastian Bach.

The Deià International Music Festival has been held since 1978 in the music room of Son Marroig, one of the former properties of Archduke Luis Salvador in the Tramuntana mountains of Mallorca. It was created by the now defunct Patrick Meadows, jazz musician and poet, and his partner Stephanie Shepard. Since a few years, the artistic direction falls on the pianist Alfredo Oyagüez Montero.

It is dedicated to chamber music, although it also includes proposals for styles such as jazz or flamenco.
