‘Swans’

This co-production by Palma City Council is an original idea by Mar Aguiló, who also directs and choreographs. It is now premiering at the Teatre Municipal Xesc Forteza.

All the dancers grow in the studio. You only become a dancer if you profess a sublime love for this art and for what it demands of you, a love that demands, like all romantic fantasies, the impossible. It is perhaps in the second act of the great romantic ballets where this tragedy is synthesized with greater intensity: darkness and its beauty, the swan women, the sylphs, the willies, death, eternal innocence…

Swans is performed by Ariane Servagent, Chantel Foo and Samba Injai.
