'El testamento de María'

It is the first monologue of Blanca Portillo and the first foray into theater of Mallorcan film director Agusti Villaronga (National Film Award in 2011), who makes his debut as a theater director. El testamento de María  (The Testament of Mary), adaptation by Villaronga himself of the novel by Irish writer Colm Tóibín, is an approach to the life of the mother of Jesus from a purely human perspective.

In this exciting monologue, Blanca Portillo plays the role of Mary, a woman who is in the last moments of her life and remembers, with numerous flashbacks, related moments of her life with her son Jesus. Spectacle in Castilian.
