‘El tipo de al lado’

Comedy starring Maribel Verdú and Antonio Melero based on a novel by the Swedish Katarina Mazetti, adapted to the stage by Alain Ganas and directed by José María Pou. It is a story of opposites. A couple meets at a cemetery when she visits the grave of her husband and him his mother’s.

Between Pablo, a clumsy farmer, and Laura, an introverted and intellectual librarian sparks fly. A volcanic relationship occurs, in which is perceived immediately the disparity of worlds and a lack of harmony and communication. This is a treatise on the social and cultural differences.
