The XI Festival MúsicaMallorca, under the artistic direction of Toyo Masanori Tanaka, dedicates this opera gala to the work of Giuseppe Verdi (1813-1901).
The program includes arias, duets, quartets, overtures scenes and a selection of Italian master operas among which La Traviata, Don Carlo, Il trovatore, Rigoletto and Nabucco.
As soloists will perform soprano Karen Frankenstein, the mezzo-soprano Anne Hasler, tenor Zurab Zurabishvili and baritone Gary Martin, joined also by the Cor Teatre Principal and the German Brandenburger Symphoniker orchestra, founded in 1810, under the baton of its current artistic director Michael Helmrath.
