‘Vivan las antípodas’

Co-produced by Germany, Argentina, Chile and the Netherlands, its director Victor Kossakovsky takes us on a unique journey around the globe in which he portrays us eight antipodes in a deep and delicate way. The multi-awarded documentary shows images that allow us to change the way we view the world.

A beautiful and peaceful evening in Argentina contrasts with the run and bustling streets of Shanghai. The residents of an inhospitable place in Botswana are connected with people who live next to a volcano in Hawaii. These antipodes seem to be united mystically, somehow their opposition unites them.

Kossakovsky’s film is a feast for the senses, a fascinating kaleidoscope of our planet projected in original version with subtitles in Catalan.
