This exhibition deals with landscapes and urban, social and archaeological environments in countries destroyed and impoverished by war, the speculation and predatory greed of large oil and gas companies, the post-colonial heritage, terrorism and violence of states and local, political and religious conflicts.
A reflection through the work of ten artists of different origins: Lida Abdul (Afghanistan), Tamara Abdul Hadi (Iraq), Zoulikha Bouabdellah (Algeria), Rena Effendi (Azerbaijan), Yara El-Sherbini (Egypt), Larissa Sansour (UAE), Gohar Dashti (Iran), Amina Benbouchta (Morocco), Kinda Hassan (Lebanon) and Mariam Ghani (USA).
