In its third edition, this international themed film festival has become the reference film event of the Balearic Islands. It covers all types, from the most committed and cultural independent cinema to  high consumer and comercial film.

It has sections of scientific , fantastic, horror, and activist dedicated to the local industry cinema, entitled Mar Balear. In it are also represented  all genres: documentary, fiction, feature film, short movies, etc.. This year Sweden participates as guest country, which means there will be a section of Swedish film and parallel activities organized jointly with the Swedish Institute of Culture and the Swedish Film Institute.

03 MareMostra  is organized by Sol Works, Clúster Balear de Innovación Marina (IDIMAR) and Cluster Audiovisual de les Illes Balears (CLAB). The activities and screenings are held in Teatre Principal, CineCiutat, Sala Augusta  and CaixaForum.
