This project of the renowned concert pianist David Gómez (Wattwil, Switzerland, 1974) is staged in very special places: demolished churches, prisons, abandoned factories, train stations, Talayotic villages... or, as in this concert, the gardens of the Cartuja de Valldemossa.
Its scenic setting is also very unique, and consists of two hundred candles that illuminate the pianist while he carries out a program consisting of works by Ernesto Lecuona, Serguéi Rachmaninoff, Manuel de Falla, Frédéric Chopin and pieces by David Gomez himself collected on his debut album The Island. The pianist also offers the possibility of making dedications of songs by demand of the audience.
