Art Vocal Ensemble premieres a new production, its twenty-second, with two works that exemplify the characteristic sensationalism of baroque music: Ode for the anniversary of Queen Anna, by G.H. Handel; and Miserere, by Jan Dismas Zelenka. The program also includes the Concerto for two violins in D minor, by J.S. Bach.
The concert, which will be held at Bellver Castle on July 9 and at the Teatre Principal d'Inca on Sunday 10, will be directed by Llorenç Gelabert Gual.
The choir and chamber orchestra of the Art Vocal Ensemble take part and, as soloists, Magarita Rodríguez (soprano), Mar Campo (contralto), Elías B. Arranz (baritone), Esperança Recio Tugores (violin) and Ricardo Duato (violin and concertino).
