30 Palma Fotogràfica

This Sunday the city of Palma will be invaded by hundreds of people, camera in hand, who will roam the streets and squares looking to capture the best image. The reason is the competition Palma Fotogràfica, which reaches its 30th edition with its distinctly festive and ludic character.

It starts at half past nine in the Plaza Major, where participants will be given a CD on which they will record the five photographs related to the six themes set by the organization. The first three items are indicated in the first check point and the remainder in a second one.

There will torrada from 13:00 in the Plaça Villalonga, next to the walls of Palma, so you can bring your food for cooking.

The contest has over thirty awards of collaborating entities, among which is included ArtsMallorca.com. This year there are two new awards to young people between 12 and 25 years, endowed with 300 euros each.

With the winning and selected photographs an exhibition will be mounted in Ses Voltes which will run from March 8 to April 3.
