Until 2017, the Diada de Mallorca was celebrated on September 12, but now it is coincident with the Festa d'Estandar on December 31st. This festival commemorates the conquest of Palma by Rey Jaume I in 1229, after centuries of Arab domination, and its celebration dates back to the thirteenth century, being one of the oldest civil festivals in Europe.
It begins on December 1 and the program includes many activities in Mallorca that cover all areas of culture: conferences, routes, guided visits, dramatized visits, family routes, exhibitions, etc. Check the program of activities.
