One of the events of the year in Mallorca, a popular night march spontaneously created more than four decades ago and over time has become a tradition for many. Its route is 48 kilometers from the Plaza Güell in Palma to the Monastery of Lluc in Escorca, which is reached at dawn (usually lasts 8 to 13 hours depending on the pace of the walker).
Each year it involves about 50,000 people and the organization enables different points along the way for water and fruit supply. It also offers ambulance, hospital and medical staff as well as security service and civil protection.
The output is at 11 pm, although the concentration will begin at 9 with a street party in which there will be music and dancing to warm things up.
