Taking Cresques Abraham's Atlas (1375) as its starting point, Es Baluard Museu presents a new reading of its Collection, whose line of research is the representation and projection of the world in its contemporaneity.
Based on the interest in recovering the medieval legacy and emphasizing being able to imagine the world, the curator Agustin Pérez Rubio has been asked to carry out a contemporary reading of what it means to imagine the world today. What happens from this Imago Mundi?
The new reading of the Collection Es Baluard, Aimless. Confronting Imago Mundi, draws on works from the museum's collection along with loans from private collections on the island.
