The jazz trumpeter and singer Alba Careta and the singer-songwriter and producer Henrio come together in the third album of the Càntut collection. Songs of oral tradition, following in the footsteps of their predecessors: Vega, Paula Grande and Anna Ferrer (Bankrobber, 2020) and Càntut, by Belda and Sanjosex (Bankrobber, 2016).
On this occasion, Alba Careta and Henrio stretch the thread of the Càntut initiative in schools, carried out by the students of Cassà de la Selva in the 2021-22 academic year. During that process, the students collected more than a hundred lullabies from the different cultures present in this municipality of Girona.
Starting from this point, and under the name Udolç, the artists embark on a dreamlike journey through various of these and other lullabies, mainly from the Girona regions and collected in the Càntut archive.
The show is part of the TardOral 2024 cycle of the Fundació Mallorca Literària.
