Holo#1 is a concert for four pianists: two of them flesh and blood and the other two on video, holograms of the real performers who interact with them in various ways.
The show is the result of the collaboration between the composer Michael Beil and the Alter-Face ensemble, made up of Albert Díaz and Tomeu Moll-Mas, which performs works by Beil for pianists who make music with a piano, without a piano or with midi controllers, always with the presence of virtual interpreters on the video screens.
They also perform pieces by François Rossé and Michael Maierhof dedicated to this duo. The concert ends with the world premiere of Deep Blue, by Michael Beil, a centrifugation of all the music and images of the concert treated live in a digital chess game between the two performers.
