Anegats + La Guardia

Rock Night at the Fiestas de Sant Bartomeu de Capdepera with two of the most active Mallorcan groups.  El fil d'Ariadna  (Ariadne's Thread) is the latest project of the Anegats, an ambitious and risky work where Anegats reflect on their musical career and life story making use of the myth of Ariadne and the labyrinth of the Minotaur.

The band consists of Angel Rios (drums), Jose Juan Umberto (electric guitar and backing vocals), Esteve Huguet (electric guitar), Robin Alba (keyboards and vocals), Paco González ( bass) and Pep Alvarez (vocals and acoustic guitar).

Meanwhile, the iconic eighties band La Guardia returned to the stage in 2003 after their break-up in 1997, with the absences of Juan Enrique Moreno - died of heart disease in 1994 and Joaquin Almendro. Since then they have released Ahora, Sobre ruedas, 25 años no es nada, Tumbado al borde de la luna and Buena gente, with the participation of Celtos Cortos, La Musicalité and Cabra Mecanica, among others.

Its current members are: Manuel España (vocals and guitar), Paco Villamayor (guitar, vocals), Jean Louis Barragán (guitar) and Javier Cano (bass).
