Angelus Apatrida presents 'The Call'

This band from Albacete, are the best examples of Spanish thrash metal today. They were formed in 2000 after the merger of two gangs of youths who shared a rehearsal venue and in 2001 they recorded their first demo on CD under the title Lost in the Realms of Orchinodaemon, in the purest European power metal style.

The success crossed borders taking their music to South America and Europe (France, Belgium, Switzerland, Poland, etc..). In 2003 the group won a contest organized by the magazine Total Rock and the Record label Red Dragon, whose prize was to record a tribute album to the band Panzer. On that occasion, Angelus Apatrida covered the theme Dance of Death.

Since then, the band has released four studio albums. The latest is titled The Call (2012), which is now presented in Es Gremi and brings together all the elements that the band has been cultivating throughout its career. At present, it consists of Guillermo Izquierdo 'Polako' (rhythm guitar, vocals), David G. Alvarez (rhythm guitar, vocals), Joseph J. Izquierdo (bass and vocals) and Victor Valera (drums, vocals).
