Ara Malikian & La Orquesta en el Tejado

It is the latest musical project of Malikian Ara, Lebanese violinist scenarios who has conquered the stages of half  the world  with his virtuosity and expressiveness. In La Orquesta en el Tejado he shares the musical direction with Humberto Armas and, as usual  this charismatic performer, aims to bring classical music to all audiences.

This chamber orchestra is made ​​up of young musicians and their repertoire ranges from the classics to the adaptions for orchestra of well known themes by contemporary artists such as Björk, Led Zeppelin, Kurt Weill, etc.

In the 52nd  Festival of Pollença he presents a program consisting of Divertimento in D minor, K 136, by WA Mozart, Concerto in A Minor for Violin and Orchestra, BWV 1041, by JS Bach, and Porteñas Four Seasons by Astor Piazzolla (version of Humberto Armas).
