Barcelona 216

This instrumental ensemble specializing in contemporary repertoire stars in the third concert of the XXXIV Encontre Internacional de Compositors, organized by the ACA Foundation and will be held from November 14 to 17 in different areas of Mallorca.

Barcelona 216 was created in 1985 by conductor Ernest Martinez Izquierdo and flutist David Albert, who since 2008 has been its artistic director. In 2000 the received the Barcelona City Music Award.

In this concert the accordion will the main note to show all the possibilities of this instrument. They will interpret works by Gaine, Lazkano, Torres, Part and Madrané.
