Each year, the International Music Festival of Deià dedicates a concert to celebrate the birthday of Archduke Luis Salvador, of which this year the centenary of his death is commemorated. A special occasion to remind the this illustrious character in love with Mallorca and to whom is dedicated the museum that can be visited in the same building of Son Marroig, which was owned by the Archduke.
The concert features Suzanne Bradbury (piano), Ramon Andreu (violin), Leah Wolf (violin), Maria Jose Gomez de la Vega (viola) and Dmtry Struchkov (cello). The program includes Quintets with Piano of Schumann in E flat major Op 44 and of Shostakovich in G minor Op 57.
