The City Council of Marratxí, in collaboration with different associations of the municipality, organizes this burial of the sardine with which the carnival ends. It begins at 6 pm on Calle Major to continue along calles Albert Castell, Jaume Balmes, Mallorca and Major, to finish in the plaza de Ca'n Flor, in Pòrtol. The ceremony ends with a snack and dance of mourning.
