La Búsqueda + Los Valendas

The III MallorcaNochenta Festival brings together two of the most important groups of the island music scene of the nineties. La Búsqueda, who have not played together since 2011, is presented with a luxury formation: Francisco Albéniz (vocals and acoustic guitar), Xavi Suarez (drums, vocals, percussion), Luis Escorcia (guitars, vocals, percussion), Chus C. Moreta (cello), Jaume Compte (guitars, oud and percussion), Arantxa Andreu (vocals and keyboard), Oriol Luna (bass guitar), Paul di Salvo (bass), Bernat Xamena (trumpet) and Joan Taberner (trumpet).

Meanwhile, Los Valendas appear with their original formation, the same with which the band debuted in 1990 in the IX Pop-Rock Contest of Palma City Council: Xavier Escutia (vocals and guitar), Tony Noguera (guitar), Carlos Garau (bass and vocals) and Cristian Constantini (drums). They will review their entire discography, from Purple Friend  (1992) to the last album released to date, Sugar coated lies  (2006). They are now finalizing  their new album, titled Set and forget.
