Born in Mar del Plata (Argentina) in 1972, Veru Iché lives and works in Mallorca. Comprised of 17 works and an installation, this is her first solo exhibition and the title refers to a population of the province of Buenos Aires, which she uses figuratively. It is presented within the annual edition of PalmaPhoto.
Veru Iché was the winner in Madrid Photo 2012 and much earlier, in 2009, she won the scholarship Ivory Press. The artist's works are full of names from the past that she moved to the present, of beings she reminds as characters secondary to her own life.
