The Santuari de Consolació de Santanyí is the stage of this concert by the duo Samanidis & Skjønhaug, formed by Irina Cotseli (voice and piano) and Christian Hoel Skjønhaug (double bass and voice).
Two musicians who explore and play the melodies and poetry of their respective cultures. After the musical trip to Greece and Norway, with works by Mikis Theodorakis, Grieg and Norwegian traditional music, they have continued with French songs by mythical singer-songwriters, such as Jacques Brel, Serge Gainsbourg and Barbara.
In June of 2018 they released their second album, Une petite Cantate, which they now present in this concert.
It is not allowed to climb the Puig de Consolació by car. It can be left in the parking lot of the s'Alqueria football field and there will be a free bus service to go up from 6.30 pm
