This vocal formation was created in Palma two decades ago and today is considered one of the best in Europe. They have a very unique repertoire as they version a capella their favorite themes of pop-rock and even famous movie soundtracks, like they have done in their seventh and latest album, Moon River (2011).
Cap Pela initially consisted of twelve members, but now has been reduced to six: Esther Barceló (soprano), Sofia Domènech (soprano), Begoña de la Iglesia (contralto), Carol Domènech (contralto), Guillem Ramon (tenor), Santiago Francia (tenor) and Joaquim Domènech (bass).
