Santanyí recovers this tradition celebrated on Easter Day and which has as protagonists the salers. These groups of young people, accompanied by their instruments would go out in the morning to improvise lyrics on simple melodies and tour through the villages of Mallorca in search of panades and robiols, two typical savory pastries of the Easter gastronomy in Mallorca.
The event begins in front of the rectory, where the salers will do their first singing. They will then carry out the capture of the Panada (collection of pie) along the village houses. The donations collected will go to the NGO Doctors Without Borders and the food will be deposited in Càritas Unitat Pastoral de Santanyí.
