In Celebrating La Fusa, Carme Canela and Jurandir Santana revisit the legendary album Vinicius de Moraes a La Fusa, which Maria Creuza and Toquinho recorded in Buenos Aires in 1970. In this project they present us with a new look at the work that opened the door to Brazilian music and bossa nova to the world.
With arrangements open to traditional Brazilian music, such as the Ijexá rhythms, the sound environment of the samba de Rueda and the influence of jazz, Carme Canela (vocals) and Jurandir Santana (guitar) flee from the predictable, preserving naturalness and all the emotion of the original disc.
The concert is a proposal of the XX Festival Tensamba Mallorca.
