Lovers of the year is the musical project of the Mallorcan singer-songwriter Charly Taylor . His real name is Carles Sastre and he sings and writes in English, hence he chose the literal translation of his name in the language of Shakespeare.
He leads this band of electropop and indierock, with influences from bands like The Beatles, Two Door Cinema Club or locals Biel Ballester Trio and LA
The other components are Miquel Femenías (drums), Josep Miquel Salom (guitars and vocals) and Antonio Sanchez (bass and vocals).
