Multicultural cities in Asia

Citystories and global cities. Asian urban shapes is the title of the exhibition  which can be seen on the main floor of  Casal Solleric. It brings together works done by artists, writers, filmmakers and journalists about the multicultural cities of Asia.

A form of urban dialogue between Asia and Europe. Stories told by means of video, TV news, documentary film, animation, novel, photography and media installation. The city becomes the protagonist and its inhabitants subjects that tend to remain anonymous.

This project has its origin in the series Citytellers, by Francesco Jodice, in which he shows how  economic and social exclusion is the determining cause of marginalization and a new kind of slavery.
