Concert of Menorcan baritone Joan Pons accompanied on piano by his daughter Joana Pons within the XXV Festival Música Clásica Antoni Lliteres.

 Joan Pons (Ciutadella, 1946) has performed in the major opera companies of the world like the Bastille in Paris, Covent Garden in London, the Teatro Real in Madrid and La Scala in Milan.

 In July 2012 he received the Gold Medal of the Gran Teatre Liceu in Barcelona, the date in which he said goodbye to the stage with the same opera Aida and the same theatre where he debuted 43 years ago, but then only as member of the chorus. The baritone leaves us masterful performances with characters like Falstaff and Rigoletto.
