Concert of Ara Malikian

Within the XXIV classical music Festival Antoni Lliteres, this concert of the violinist Ara Malikian will be offered. Born in Lebanon of Armenian family is considered one of the best violinists of his generation. He has masterfully assimilated music from all cultures and has a broad repertoire that includes practically all the works written for the instrument that she dominates. He is currently concertmaster of the Symphony Orchestra of Madrid at the Teatro Real.

He will be accompanied by Moises P. Sánchez, one of the most internationally projected jazz pianists. He has performed at numerous festivals with musicians like Gonzalo Rubacaba or Joshua Redman, and recorded albums with Plácido Domingo, Carmen París, Jorge Pardo and Ara Malikian, among others.
