Special concert Sant Jordi 2022

The V Encontre Orquestral de les Illes Balears is this special concert in honor of the festival of Sant Jordi, uniting music with literature. As guest director, Bernat Quetglas.

One part of the program is entitled Mahler's First Symphony (Titán) and its relationship with literature and is made up of:

First part: Memorias de juventud: flores, frutas y espinas
I.La eterna juventud
II.El viento en mis alas

Second part: Comedia Humana
III.Marcha funeral al estilo de Jacques Callot. Inspirada en la fábula austríaca El funeral del cazador
IV. Dall Inferno al paradiso

The rest of the program is devoted to Der Kuss (The Kiss) and Gustav Klimt.
