The Federación Balear de Bandas de Música i Associacions Musicals celebrates its 30th anniversary with this extraordinary concert at the Claustre de Sant Domingo de Pollença. The Banda de Música Simfònica de les Illes balears, directed by Tomeu Aulí Ginard, takes part.
In this concert will be released two pieces by Salvador Brotons and Jesús Santandreu , while a tribute will be made to the first concert of the Band with the interpretation of one of the songs that could then be heard.
The program combines traditional and modern harmonies including a concert for clarinet and band that will have as a soloist the Majorcan clarinetist Pascual Martínez Forteza, who is a member of the New York Symphony Orchestra and son of the first director of the Banda Simfònica de Balears, Pascual V.
