Alfred Lichter the German artist based in Mallorca since six decades just turned 95 years old ( he died a few months later) and wants to celebrate this with the announcement of a children’s competition of painting and drawing under the title Lo que me alegra(What pleases me).
The Foundation from Alaró that bears his name opens the contest to children between 4 and 6 years residing in Mallorca, who may submit their works until November12. The winning works will be exhibited at the Lichter Foundation, and will be part of a calendar and a collection of postcards that will be edited by the institution.
The awards ceremony will be held on December 2 in a fun gala where the finalists and winner and their families can participate. The contest rules are on the Foundation website.
