'Against the ropes – The guitars of Paco de Lucía'

Can Balaguer hosts this photography exhibition around the figure of the great musician and creator Paco de Lucía (Algeciras, 1947-Playa del Carmen, Mexico, 2014). With images taken by his widow Gabriela Canseco, Oto Marabel and Tomeu Coll, curator of the exhibition.

Several activities are held around the exhibition, in addition to the first edition of the Paco de Lucía Festival, which takes place from March 9 to 13.

The Festival Paco de Lucía Palma Flamenca is organized by the Palma City Council, the Consell de Mallorca, Teatre Principal and the Paco de Lucía Foundation. It is held from March 9 to 13 for the benefit of the Paco de Lucía Foundation and schedules two concerts at the Teatre Principal and three at the Teatre Municipal Xesc Forteza, in addition to other parallel activities.
