Courses New Technologies

New technologies offer us endless possibilities to communicate with others, but it often seems an unattainable world for us. These courses taught by Joan Roig aim to provide knowledge for the proper use of new technological means.

The courses are part of the training offered to adults of the Obra Social Sa Nostra in the 2015-2016 course. They are held at the Centre de Cultura Sa Nostra and the deadline for registration is September 28 to October 9.

'The world in your hands tablet devices and mobile phone'
Apple:
Duration: November 3 to December 1, 2015
Hours: Tuesdays from 18:00 to 19:30 h.
Android:
Duration: from November 4 to December 2, 2015
Hours: Wednesdays from 18:00 to 19:30 h.
Objectives:
To acquire the knowledge necessary for the proper use of a tablet / smartphone.

Content:
- Social networks: Facebook, Twitter, Linkedin

- Instant Messaging and email (Whatsapp, messenger, SMS, email)

- How to make video calls (Skype, Facetime, Messenger) from tablet or Smartphone.

- Take me to ...? GPS-guided navigation through google maps

Internet Security: Shopping and banking for mobile and tablets

Content:
- Internet Security applications and safety recommendations, creation of safe access keys

- Buy online, secure payment systems (virtual cards, secure payment, paypal)

- Financial Application BMN. What I can do with mobile or tablet?
