Her natural musicality and refined execution have assured the Brazilian Cristina Ortiz a place among the world's most respected pianists.
Throughout her long career she has played with the most prestigious orchestras: Berliner Philharmoniker, Wiener Philharmoniker and Chicago Symphony or the Philharmonia and Royal Concertgebouw, among many others. Also he list of directors with whom she has collaborated will not leave anyone indifferent: Neeme Järvi, Mariss Jansons, Kurt Masur, André Previn and David Zinman.
Cristina Ortiz is also a passionate teacher and gives master and individual classes and workshops worldwide.
She participate in the Chopin Festival with a program consisting of four pieces of Chopin: Fantasy in F minor, op. 49, Sonata No. 2 in B flat minor, Op. 35, Barcarolle in F sharp major, op. 60 and Sonata No. 3 in B minor, op. 58.
