This group was created in November of 2016 with the intention of recovering the songs of struggle for the freedom of Catalan and Mallorcan singers. Songs of Serrat, Llach, Maria del Mar Bonet and some not so well known by Josep Maria Espinàs and Joan Isaac, as in this concert.
At the moment, Crònica de la Nova Cançó is made up of six components with very different instruments that fit together perfectly: a grand piano, a cello, a double bass, an acoustic guitar, a Mallorcan flabiol and two voices.
