American Dean Sameshima (California, 1971) belongs to the new generation of artists that is revolutionizing the art scene in the American West Coast. His work is in the collections of museums such as the Indianapolis Museum of Art, the Kunstverein Hamburg, the Tate Modern in London, the Palazzina Reale in Florence or the MOCA in Los Angeles, one of the cities in which he resides along with Berlin.
Cruise Or Be cruised S / F 2014 is the third exhibition in Spain of Sameshima curated by Tolo Cañellas after Pictures: Tres (Madrid, 2009) and Cruise Or Be cruised (Madrid, 2012). In it he moves his current of research and vision of art to Box 27 of Casal Solleric, juxtaposing various techniques and using unconventional media such shirts as canvases as pop act.
