Sa Rueta, Sa Rua and el Entierro de la sardina (the Burial of the sardine) are the three events of the Manacor Carnival that takes place from February 10 to 25. It programs many activities to be enjoyed these days by children and grown-ups wearing their best costumes.
The Carnival in Manacor begins with the Dijous Llarder (Thursday “lardero”) and ends on February 21 with the burial of the sardine, the ceremony with which the end of Carnival is announced. In the rest of the nuclei of the municipality it continues until the 25th. Check the program.
