Appointment with new talents at the Deià International Music Festival. Starring Joaquín Sanz (oboe) and the Horseman Quartet, formed by Lucía Barrero (violin), Marta Florit (violin), Pedro Ortega (viola) and Maria servera (double bass).
The program consists of the Cuarteto, by Rafael Cavestany; String Quartet Op. 33/2 by F.J. Haydn (Allegro moderato, cantabile, Scherzo - Allegro, Largo sostenuto, Finale - Presto); Quartet with Oboe by W.A.Mozart; And String Quartet in D minor KV 421, by W. A. Mozart (Allegro moderato, Andante, Menuetto: Allegretto - Trio, Allegretto ma non troppo).
Deià International Music Festival, with artistic direction by Alfredo Oyágüez Montero (Madrid, 1967), is celebrated from May 4 to October 5 with concerts in la Sala de Música de la Casa Museu de Son Marroig, one of the Old properties of the Archduke Luis Salvador in the Serra de Tramuntana. From its terraces you can see a spectacular sunset over the sea.
